The following is a Stitch Up and shouldn't be taken too seriously....

In the wake of Australia coach Mal Meninga's tough "no dickhead's" stance, Laurie Daley thought he would take some time to explain his 2017 NSW Blues team philosophy in an open letter...

Dear Fellow New South Welshmen,

I just wanted to reassure you that despite my former sparring partner and team mate Mal Meninga's irrational and hard line stance of "no dickheads" in the Australian Kangaroos squad, we here in New South Wales will not be adopting the same policy.

If I were to enact a no dickhead's policy the Blues' depth would be utterly decimated! I would struggle to field a team!

Instead, I have decided to buck the trend and have enacted a "dickheads welcome" policy. In fact this policy has been more of an unspoken rule since the Blues inception, I just felt now was the right time to make it official.

This paves the way for Andrew Fifita despite his support of coward punch killers, his road rage incidents and his abuse of junior referee's. Hell, he could kill a bevvy of nuns and torch an orphanage for all I care. He will always have a blue jersey as long as he doesn't shrink or lose weight!

Now that Jarryd Hayne is back, despite his countless "dreams" and "aspirations" and paying off weird bikies thousands of dollars down on the Gold Coast, I'm sure I can find a spot for him on the team too.

Other notable dickheads who will don the Blue jersey next year include Robbie Farah, David Klemmer, Josh Dugan and Aaron Woods.

Up the Blues!
